Modeling and Simulation of Photovoltaic Cell Using Matlab/Simulink

This paper presents modeling of Photovoltaic (PV) module using MATLAB/Simulink. The model is developed on the basis of mathematical model of the PV module. The PV module of VIKRAM SOLAR PANEL PVELDORA 230 is selected for the experimental and technical data to analyze the developed model. The objective of this paper is to develop a model to simulate the behavior of a photovoltaic cell. Both models are implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. To demonstrate the validity of the model the IV and PV curves results were compared with those provided by the manufacturer.
